Ospreys at Robb Field

The Osprey nest that is on the top of a
light stanchion at Robb Field is occupied this year
(according to a friend who follows it
closely) by a new pair who are raising three young.
We went down this morning the first time
this year to see how they're doing. All three
are flying, the most recent having fledged
(again from my friend) early this morning. One
of the three landed on a lower pole near
the nest and next to an active handball court. The
first four shots are of this bird. (The
white speckles on the upper side of the wings shows
that it is a juvenile.)
